George Whitfield provides concerts for care homes and day centres in South Wales with sing-along and interactive percussion playing.
George Whitfield is a self-employed accordion player and singer. Most of his daytime work is in care homes and day centres, including those for adults with special needs. George performs in a friendly informal way, encouraging audiences to sing, dance and play along. With a wide musical repertoire all tastes can be catered for. He loves to have conversations about songs and singers with residents.
George's concerts feature popular songs from many genres: showtunes like Cabaret or Edelweiss, Welsh classics such as Calon Lan, sing-a-long like Roll out the Barrel along with country, love songs and rock and roll. George performed well over 100 different songs last year alone and requests are always welcome!
George brings a small, high quality speaker for a comfortable sound level and a bag of percussion - bells, maracas, and tambourines.
A one hour daytime concert on a weekday is £70.
An extra travel charge may be needed more than half an hours drive from Narberth. (For example my Llanelli customers pay £80)
